What is Bossier KIDS?
A nonprofit organization, tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, chartered in January 1984 for the purpose of caring for foster children.
Bossier KIDS is the only private foster care agency in northwest Louisiana.
In all of Louisiana there are only seven private care agencies, five in the
New Orleans area, one in Lake Charles and Bossier KIDS, serving
northwest Louisiana.
Our foster families provide an extended family for children whose lives have been disrupted. The children come to us for many reasons; out of many situations; with a variety of needs. Ages range from birth to 18.
Bossier KIDS provides a stable, healthy, safe, Christian family environment for children until the natural family situation is stabilized or until the child reaches age 18. Sometimes children are placed with adoptive parents prior to age 18.
